Black Mulberry, Goji and Black Bean Tea
Traditionally used to nourish blood and support youthful hair and skin
Why people make this tea
Dried mulberries come in white, black and red, and Bro Niu always points people toward the black ones — they carry the most anthocyanins and the strongest antioxidant character. In the food-therapy tradition, black mulberry is used to nourish yin and blood and to moisten dryness, the sort of support associated with easing dizziness and premature greying that trace back to under-nourished liver and kidney. Paired with goji, black bean, lotus seed and red date, it makes a gentle, dark, faintly sweet tea.
Who it suits / who should be cautious
- Suits those wanting to support healthy, lustrous hair and skin, or who feel a little run-down with poor colour.
- Gentle for general use. If you are pregnant or managing a condition, check with your own practitioner first.
