Method
- Peel the carrot and slice into rounds or angled chunks.
- Pit the red dates.
- Slice the pork and blanch in boiling water for 1–2 minutes; drain and rinse.

- Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes until reduced to about 2 bowls.
- Divide into two servings and drink over the course of one day — one bowl at a time.
